I for one are all for being in Yorkshire,But Why are we in the Northumbrian Tourist board and not in yorkshire board? No wonder everyone is confussed
Thank you for your comment.
Actually Redcar & Cleveland Council joined the Yorkshire Tourist Board two years ago. We left Northumbriam Tourist Board at the same time. The NTB ceased to exist about a year ago.

Chris Abbott
how much did it cost to change all the stationary to say yorkshire instead of cleveland?
It cost absolutely nothing at all.
The motion put to the Council, agreeing to use Yorkshire as part of its postal address, included the words "at no cost to the Borough Council." There was no budget allocated to the change and, indeed, it required no cost.
All existing headed paper stock was used up first. It is strange that this is the only thing the opponents of recognising our status as part of Yorkshire can nit-pick about. The same people did not use this argument when they insisted that the Council deleted Middlesbrough from the postal address of the town hall. When that was changed it was done regardless of any cost.
