Brotton by-election result

Labour  have won Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council’s Brotton Ward by-election.

The result was as follows:

Doreen Rudland (Lab)... 565
Barry Hunt (Ind).......... 351
Val Miller (Lib Dem)...... 315
Donald Alan Agar (Con).. 220
Michael George (BNP).... 33

There was a 27.76 per cent turnout.
