Golden Globe awards for Atonement

The film which put Redcar on the map has won two awards at the 65th annual Golden Globe awards.

Atonement, which features the transformation of Redcar beach into 1940s Dunkirk, picked up the Best Picture and the Best Original Score.

The film will be released as a DVD next month and will include a feature on how Redcar was transformed.
