This is the first year we have had sound and music equipment, loaned by the Redcar British Legion. Eric Howden, second left, cream shirt, who organises all the local British Legion ceremonies, recited Humbert Wolfe's 'These Are The Yorkshire Folk' and 'The Rose Of York' (author not known).
