Don't use clear sacks for cans and glass please

Redcar and Cleveland Council is reminding residents not to use the clear recycling bags for the collection of cans and glass because of the possible health and safety risk to collectors.

Clear sacks must only be used for the collection of plastic bottles and clean cardboard. If residents requires a box or blue bag, please call 01642 774774.
